PAPA is local-first. If you never create a cloud account, your data never leaves your device and most of this policy doesn't apply to you. If you enable cloud sync, we store your account email and your own trading data so your devices can share it. We never store your broker or exchange credentials — they stay on your computer by design, not by promise.
Nothing. The desktop app talks to your broker or exchange directly on your machine. Telemetry is off; crash reports, if ever added, are opt-in.
If you create a PAPA cloud account to sync across devices, we store your email address, a salted hash of your password, and the trading data you choose to sync — normalized trades, journal entries (notes, tags), playbooks, custom strategies, accounting entries, settings, firm profiles, and compliance snapshots. Server logs (IP address, timestamps) are kept for up to 30 days for abuse prevention.
Broker or exchange logins, API keys, investor passwords, email/SMTP passwords, or payment card numbers. Read-only API keys are the only supported configuration, and credentials remain on your device.
Performance of a contract (providing sync); consent (any optional processing, such as crash reports); and legitimate interest (abuse prevention).
We keep account data until you delete your account. Deleting your account removes your synced data from our live systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days. To request deletion, email hello@papafunded.com.
You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your data, to object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority (in Denmark, Datatilsynet). The in-app backup exports everything you've stored. Exercise any right by emailing hello@papafunded.com.
Our cloud runs on Hetzner (EU region). Transactional email (verification and password-reset messages) is sent via Brevo. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. If we add further processors, we'll list them here.
We'll notify account holders by email before any material change to this policy.
